Description

The Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See is a picturesque mountain in the Austrian Alps, known for its breathtaking scenery and a midsummer fire on the Schmittenhöhe is an unforgettable experience.

The fire is lit in a wide, open clearing near the mountain station of the trassXpress, which offers a spectacular view of Lake Zell and the surrounding mountains.

The midsummer bonfire is rounded off with a BBQ in the Berghotel Restaurant.

Practical Information

Program:
from 05.30 pm ascent with Schmittenhöhebahn possible
from 06.30 pm BBQ in the Berghotel Restaurant
around 09.30 pm Burning of the solstice fire
at 11.00 pm last descent

Ascent and descent inkl BBQ for EUR 65,00 adult / EUR 33,00 child
