What about kids?

Infants born in 2020 or younger ride free when accompanied by an adult. They receive a free ticket at the cash desks (proof of age required).
The children's fare applies to those born between 2010 and 2019. The adult fare applies to those born in 2009 or later.

Do you offer a family bonus?

Yes, parents pay children price only for the first two children (born 2010 - 2019), all additional children from same family (born 2010 - 2019) ride free. You only get the family bonus at the cash desk.

What payment options do I have when I purchase online?

You have the option to pay online with Master, Visa or debit card. Please make sure that your credit card is registered for 3D-Secure, otherwise the payment cannot be completed in the online shop. The 3D-Secure protects your credit card payments in online stores. If you still have a card without 3D-Secure, please contact your bank or card issuer.

Do I have to go to the ticket office before entering?

No, if you purchased a summer ticket online, the QR code in your confirmation email (on your phone or printed out) will give you direct access to the cable car/boat trip - just scan the QR code on the reader.

Combination ticket: how does it work?

The combination ticket includes a ride up and down the mountain by cable car up to 2.000m and a boat trip on Lake Zell. It is not necessary to do both activities on the same day.

May I buy severeral lift tickes in one transaction?

The purchase of multiple tickets (cable car or boat) in one order is possible. The data of the tickets are linked and stored on "My account". Likewise, the administration of the tickets is done on "My account" and the already registered data like Name, keycard number, etc. will be available for the next order.

I lost my ticket or forgot it at home. What should I do?

All orders are listed in our account of Schmitten-Onlineshop. There you can find the booking confirmation anytime.

Are dogs allowed in cable cars or on the boat?

Yes, it is allowed to bring dogs. A ticket must be purchased. All dogs are required to wear a leash and muzzle, these can be purchased at the valley stations if required.

Is there a discounted price?

Various discounts (groups, invalids, etc.) are available only at the cash desks with appropriate proof.

How does the cancellation guarantee work?

If you have taken out a cancellation guarantee, the ticket price will be refunded if you cancel without giving a reason. Subsequent booking of the cancellation guarantee after completion of the order is excluded.

Do I have an advantage if I buy my ticket online?

YES. Save money by booking in the online store! Planning pays off - purchase your online ticket at least one day before it becomes valid and receive a discount of up to 15% on the regular ticket price, depending on the ticket type! You will find the already reduced prices in the online store.
