Herbs as far as the eye can see: Alfred Bürki, our herb expert from the Schmittenhöhe, shares valuable tips and tricks on collecting and preparing local wild herbs.

On a walk along the Höhenpromenade, you’ll discover all sorts of wild medicinal and culinary herbs alongside Alfred Bürki.

Practical Information

Price per person: EUR 69.00 Adult | EUR 34.50 Child

The ticket includes:

  • Ascent and descent with the Schmittenhöhebahn / Sonnenalmbahn & Sonnkogelbahn cable cars
  • Visit panoramic platform "Kaiserblick" 
  • Guided hike tour with herb workshop
  • 2-course lunch at Restaurant Sonnkogel

Meeting point: 09.00 am at Schmittenhöhebahn valley station
Please make sure you wear sturdy shoes, suitable clothing and have enough to drink for the approx. 50-minute hike

Duration of the event: approx. 2.5 hours. In case of bad weather forecast the event will be cancelled or postponed. In this case you will be informed by e-mail the day before.
